How far can Dierks Bentley take “The Mountain” up the “Billboard” 200?

Capitol Nashville Dierks Bentley’s new record, The Mountain, is headed for a big debut on the all-genre albums chart, according to the experts at Billboard.

The Arizona native’s ninth studio album is on track to sell 100,000 units in its first week, likely guaranteeing it the #3 spot on next week’s Billboard 200.

A couple other big projects stand between Dierks and the #1 spot: Namely KIDS SEE GHOSTS, a collaboration between hip hop’s Kanye West and Kid Cudi, and Come Tomorrow, the new album by rockers Dave Matthews Band.

Of course, Dierks should easily emerge at the top of the country albums ranking, propelled by the record’s #1 lead single, “Woman, Amen.”
