Fellow Peach State natives Cole SwindellAmerican Idol winner Phillip PhillipsDJ Rock, and the group of hit songwriters known as The Peach Pickers will join him as well.

Proceeds will go to fund ongoing natural disaster relief, as well as other needs in the area, through the Community Foundation of South Georgia.

“My hometown is more than a place for me.  It is a way of life,” Luke reflects. “Growing up in South Georgia has had such an impact on me in so many ways and I’m so glad that this group of amazing artists and writers are able to come back home and help those who have been hit by such devastation over the past couple of years.”

In January of 2017, five Georgia counties were hard-hit by one of the largest winter outbreaks of tornadoes in history, according to the National Weather Service.

“When I was asked to be a part of this event I didn’t hesitate,” Cole adds. “Even though I get to travel the country doing what I love day after day, there is nothing that gives me a sense of recharging than coming back home to South Georgia and being around the people who helped get me here.”

He continues, “Being able to give back in some small way means the world to me.”

Tickets are on sale now for the Wednesday, October 3 show that’s being called The Heart of South Georgia. It’ll take place at the Exchange Club of Albany.
